Description

This shiur discusses the question as to whether or not a Rabbi should make aliya. Since the times of the Gemara, the tension between aliya and talmud Torah was expressed in Halacha. This shiur mentions the perspectives of Rav Soloveitchik, Rav Schachter, and others regarding the importance of Rabbis sticking with their communities in galus.
