Description

Examples of a "lacking" korban which is not a מצוה מן המובחר. One example is a Korban that was brought שלא לשמה. A second example comes for the Parsha of טומאת מצורע when the oil was not poured over the head. Or a korban without סמיכה. The bulk of the Daf addresses the question of the possibility of כפרה for a sin that was committed after he had already set aside הפרשה the korban. In the language on the sugya: לא כיפר כלפי שמיא.
