Description
Yeshiva University’s Student Medical Ethics Society Presents and important program on a pressing issue. In today’s world, where the average life span is increasing and medical costs are rising, people find themselves asking what exactly their responsibilities are regarding their aging parents. We know that halacha places a vital emphasis on the importance of kibud av va’em, but is there ever a point where it’s too difficult to care for an elderly or sick parent? Is there ever a point where the financial or time burden becomes too great that the obligation to care for a parent ends?
