Description

This shiur discusses the Halachos related to having procedures done in order to improve one's physical appearance. Potential issues include the problem of inflicting a wound into one's body and putting one's self in danger. Additionally, the shiur discusses the Hashkafa related to the topic. Specifically, on one hand, the Torah recognizes the importance of physical and mental health. Yet, on the other hand, one cannot be overly obsessed with his/her own physical appearance.
